Cutwright In research

AI director for real footage · built on Godot

Bring the footage. Cutwright makes the cut.

Cutwright is an editor you direct by talking. It reads every word, pause, speaker and shot in your footage, cuts for meaning and breath, and dresses the show in one graphics package: lower thirds, callouts, diagrams and sketches in your style. You approve every change.

MAYASo um, the reason we built the boat — no, wait, let me start again — the reason we built it was the storm. It took the old one in a night.

An illustration of what the director sees: words, pauses and shots on one clock. The filler and the false start come out, the thought stays whole, and the name card lands as Maya starts to explain.

Cuts that keep the thought

Every cut is scored on the words, the pauses and the picture, so nothing that carries meaning is lost: not a word, not a breath, not a punchline.

One look, every episode

Graphics come from your show's own package, live while you edit and the same from one episode to the next. They stay editable when the cut goes to Premiere, Resolve or Final Cut.

You direct, it checks its work

Talk it through and approve each change. The director watches its own cut before it calls it done, and your footage stays on your computer.
